Oh, and I mustn’t forget that I did see new Harry. Like instantly. And I shall see it again, to properly digest what I went through. Only some small notes.
THE BEST:
- Helena Bonham Carter. I want to marry Bellatrix. Who else could pull that off? I actually championed her when she was killing this and that. So good.
- Draco. Have to say, I quite felt the chops from Mr. Felton on this one. Felt some sympathy for Malfoy, something that was unexpected in the movie, but a nice surprise nonetheless.
- The Weasley’s House. Despite this not happening in the book, I loved it when they burnt the house down ONLY for the look on Julie Walters face. She was expressing what my insides were feeling. She’s a god.
- Luna. That’s all.
- The Warner Brothers logo and the following HP theme. I pretty much was crying. It just makes me feel so damn good.
THE NOT SO GOOD:
- Dumbledore’s death. I mean come on, I just didn’t care. And the wand lifting? What the fudge?!? No sympathy felt here.
- Daniel Radcliffe’s acting. Seriously? Come on! I though you had sex with horses and got naked in Equus. Does that mean it was all just an attention thing and you still can’t act? (Note - see his episode of Extras, his one good piece of work)
- Hermione’s hair. Or lack there of.
- The love between Harry and Ginny.
